United States youth international Brooks Lennon put on a show for the U.S. U-20’s at this spring’s CONCACAF Championship and figures to be a vital part of the team’s World Cup run in May. The Liverpool owned winger is current on loan with Real Salt Lake in MLS and has been featuring as a starter for them over the past several weeks. He took advantage of his chance tonight with a sensational solo goal, his first professional goal of his career.

Lennon has been highly touted among U.S. Soccer prospect evaluators for some time. His move to Merseyside proved those people right. Now he’s finally proving it on the field in a competitive environment. This could be his year as it’s only beginning. The World Cup in May should be a perfect chance for him to show off his tremendous talent. Hopefully we get to see more fantastic moments like this in big time games.
Let’s not judge him on using both Ronaldo’s and Paulo Dybala’s celebrations tho.
Brooks Lennon managed combine both the trademark Dybala celebration and Cristiano celebration into his own. Impressive! #RSL #COLvRSL #MLS pic.twitter.com/rD9qjrakYK
