This morning, United States U-17 head coach Raphael Wicky named the 21-man roster that will travel to compete in the U-17 World Cup. The U-17 World Cup will take place in Brazil from October 26th to November 18th.
The U-17s are in Group D and open up play on October 27th against Senegal. They then play Japan on October 30th and wrap up group play against the Netherlands on November 2nd. Players born after January 1, 2002 were eligible for the roster, and the roster includes 2 players born in 2003. The team hopes to improve on their quarterfinal finish in the 2017 U-17 World Cup.
