The United States have lined up their first post-World Cup friendlies. The Americans will take on Costa Rica twice in August, first in Pittsburgh and then in Chattanooga.

The first match of the back-to-back clashes with the Ticas will come on August 16 at Heinz Field. Then three days later they will be at Finley Stadium.

Costa Rica played in their first World Cup this summer, but went out in the group stage. They drew Spain and South Korea, but fell to Brazil and were eliminated with just two points. The U.S. last played Costa Rica at last year's CONCACAF Women's Championship, where the U.S. crushed the Ricas, 6-0, in the final.

The match in Pittsburgh will be especially exciting for Meghan Klingenberg, who is from just outside the city. No U.S. players are from the Chattanooga area.

If the U.S. wins the World Cup, they may have a giant crowd on hand for both matches as they go on a bit of a celebration tour. Regardless, the excitement and exposure from the tournament will certainly give them a boost and that they will be starting their run up to the Olympics will help as well so they should have nice crowds in both cities.
