The USWNT is taking over England!

The United States Women’s National Team has seen some of its members leave the NWSL, at least temporarily, to head to England in search of more playing time. The FA WSL has 5 new additions to its teams, and it will create some fun matchups this season.

First, Manchester City brought in Samantha Mewis and Rose Lavelle last month, hoping that they can be the difference in a championship run this season. Not to be outdone, Manchester United hope to make Manchester red and the WSL theirs this season, signing Tobin Heath and Christen Press to their squad last week. Finally, in a more shocking move, Tottenham Hotspur added an American of their own, signing Alex Morgan last weekend.
