They’re looking for another big win to close out the international window.

The United States Women’s National Team return to action tomorrow when they play a second friendly against Paraguay, this time at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati. Their last friendly was a no doubter, a 9-0 destruction of Paraguay, who was out of it from the first few minutes of the match.

Paraguay will likely come out playing much more aggressive in an effort to stop the USWNT attack, so it will be up to head coach Vlatko Andonovski to make the adjustments necessary to set the team up for similar success.

What To Watch For

Continue the pressure. The USWNT should continue to pressure Paraguay into making mistakes that they can turn into scoring chances. The midfield will need to continue their domination and get the ball forward quickly.

Elevate the intensity. Just because last Thursday was a match where the USWNT put up big numbers doesn’t mean that they can lapse on the intensity. The U.S. should continue to take the intensity up to another level to rule out

Get other players involved. Getting Carli Lloyd on the scoreboard 5 times in one match is a monumental feat. Of course, fans should expect Lloyd to once again get the start and try to get another nice amount of goals. However, the U.S. will want to try and get other players involved in the action and hopefully get them some goals as well.

Prediction

It’s going to be another great night for the USWNT, but we probably don’t see 9 goals again. We still see a bunch, as The Gals once again do numbers in a 6-0 blowout.
