Hopefully, you've been checking out KickTV's excellent series previewing the so-called "Group of Death." In past episodes, Jimmy Conrad has visited Germany, Portugal and Ghana. Well, he's finally gotten around to visiting the United States.
In the first U.S.-based episode, Conrad explores Seattle and tries to figure out what makes soccer such a massive thing in the Northwest outpost. He does all the cliche stuff, like going to Pike Place, visiting the Space Needle and doing the March to the Match.
But he also gets some face time with Sounders owners Adrian Hanauer and Joe Roth and a whole bunch of players. Shockingly, he comes away singing the city's praises.
