2018 World Cup Draw: Open thread

As the groups get drawn, we will be here to discuss it all!

The time is now! At 10:00am, FIFA will conduct the 2018 World Cup Draw live from the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow. Television coverage is available on Fox Sports 1 and Telemundo, with streaming available on FIFA.com and Fox Sports Go.

We previewed the draw yesterday, including the pots and which teams are included in them. We know that Russia will be slotted in A1, but the rest we are about to find out.

This is your open thread for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Draw. The groups will be updated as teams are picked from the pots and drawn into slots.

Here are the 2018 FIFA World Cup groups, ordered from slots 1-4:

Group A: Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay

Group B: Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Iran

Group C: France, Australia, Peru, Denmark

Group D: Argentina, Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria

Group E: Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Serbia

Group F: Germany, Mexico, Sweden, South Korea

Group G: Belgium, Panama, Tunisia, England

Group H: Poland, Senegal, Colombia, Japan

The opening match will be Russia vs. Saudi Arabia, which will take place June 14th at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
