It has been a highly entertaining first few days of the 2018 World Cup. Today, we see the final group get started, Group H, followed by the hosts Russia back in action hoping to continue their winning ways. The morning gets started with Colombia facing Japan, which could figure to be a high scoring affair. Japan and Colombia both have some high profile names in Keisuke Honda and James Rodriguez. But, if you want a small, tiny American angle for this match, look for Gōtoku Sakai. The Japanese defender was born in New York City, where he lived until the age of 2.

After that is the other Group H matchup, Poland versus Senegal. Poland is one of the teams that people are intrigued about seeing, as they have risen all the way to #8 in the rankings. Still, many are not thinking they will do much damage in this tournament, but with Robert Lewandowski up top, Senegal could have their hands full. But, Senegal has some flair in their offense as well, led by Sadio Mané. Who has the edge?

Finally, Russia will look to go 2-0 in group play when they take on Egypt. Russia lit up the world when they opened the World Cup with a 5-0 throttling of Saudi Arabia. But, The Pharoahs are hoping that they can finally let Mohamed Salah run wild and bring them some instant offense. Will he finally make his debut? Will Russia still be too much?
