The quarterfinals of the 2018 World Cup begin today, and it contains two matches featuring some of the teams that have been playing the best throughout the tournament. In the first match, Uruguay faces France, with both teams looking impressive in their victories in the Round of 16. Will it be Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani and La Celeste moving on, or will Kylian Mbappe, Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann and Les Bleus that advance to Saint Petersburg?
The afternoon match is one that could easily be the World Cup final, as Brazil takes on Belgium. Brazil is ranked #2 in the world and Belgium #3, and both have played some spectacular soccer during the World Cup. Only one can move on, so will it be Neymar, Gabriel Jesus and Brazil who prevail, or will we see Belgium’s golden generation of Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku, and Kevin De Bruyne signal that they’re not done yet?
